Rising Star Grand Prix Rules

Players get Grand Prix (GP) points for Rising Star Grand Prix event in

which they play. The more events they play, the more points they get.

GP entry points are calculated per the Triangle Number Formula: P =

n(n+1)/2 where n is the number of Rising Star Grand Prix events they

played:

1 event = 1 pt 5 events = 15 pts 9 events = 45 pts

2 events = 3 pts 6 events = 21 pts 10 events = 55 pts

3 events = 6 pts 7 events = 28 pts 11 events = 66 pts

4 events = 10 pts 8 events = 36 pts 12 events = 78 pts

Players get bonus points for winning a prize in their section for each

event they play:

Open Section Best Under 2200 = 3 pts

U1200 Section Best Under 800 = 3 pts

Top ten points earners at the end of the year win cash prizes as

If there is a tie, the prizes amounts for the tied positions will be
